Genetics in a World filled with Violence

The existence of Giants in the earth cannot be the result of Fallen Angels having intercourse with earthly women. According to Jesus, when redeemed Mankind reaches an equality with Angels, a powerful change has taken place that prevents death and makes impossible the reproduction of life through sex within the confines of marriage.

“And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.” - Mark 12:24-25

This is amazing to us simply because we are humans. We aren’t Angels. Not only is Mankind categorically inferior to Angels to begin with, but we were created for different purposes altogether (Ps. 8:5, Heb. 2:7, 9). Mankind was created to reproduce and multiply from the beginning. Before the fall, God said, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…” (Gen. 1:28). God never said anything like this to Angels! We can be sure that the innumerable company of Angels existing in Heaven didn’t populate the high and holy abode of Eternity by way of reproduction (Isa. 57:15, Heb. 12:22). Impossible! Why would the LORD create Angels with the sexual ability to have intercourse and reproduce, if the original purpose for which they were created was a livelihood void of marriage, intercourse, and reproduction? Neither is there any mention of the existence of female Angels in Heaven! I’m sure the holy Angels in glory aren’t sad about it either (“Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God?” – Mk. 12:24).

Meanwhile, the lustful and depraved sons of Adam couldn’t imagine a Heaven without marriage and sex (Matt. 22:23-33, Mk. 12:18-27, Lk. 20:27-40). You think that’s why the Muslims believe that Heaven is full of orgies as each faithful martyr inherits 70 virgins for his own personal paradise of sensual pleasure? Lascivious and intemperate sinners, burning with sensuality, are thus compelled to debase the Angels with such like blasphemous doctrines, only because they can’t imagine a good life without sex. They would like to think that Angels are busy looking upon our women because they are beautiful (Gen. 6:2). Yet, it doesn’t just say that “the Sons of God” (whom they suppose to be Angels) simply couldn’t keep themselves from looking, it says that “they took them wives of all which they chose” (Gen. 6:2). Huh?

How does an Angel marry a woman? Is there a dowry? Is there a ceremony with a certificate of Matrimony? Do the children ever meet their angelic father? How does the Angel provide for his growing family? Are the newborn children then called by the name of their father, even though these are fatherless Angels who were not born by the intercourse of other Angels?

Ah! But you will ask, “How then were Giants formed if not by Angels mating with women? How could mere men give birth to Giants?”. Considering the circumstances, there is a reasonable explanation on how this happened. A 7-to-13-foot stature was and is quite feasible to obtain by the process of human genetics, especially if barbaric forms of polygamy were being practiced to achieve this goal. Theoretically, it wouldn’t take long to reach the 11 ft. stature of Goliath or even the 13 ft. stature of Og King of Bashan. Modern history bears witness to what is possible no matter the race.

When a 6’2 Chinese woman came together with a 6’7 Chinese man, they gave birth to Yao Ming who grew to be 7’6. In only 1 generation Yao Ming grew almost an entire foot beyond his father.

When a 6’6 Chinese woman came together with a 7-foot Chinese man, they gave birth to a girl named Zhang Ziyu who, at only 14 years old, has grown to be 7’5. This girl will likely surpass 8 feet when she is done growing. That would mean she will eventually grow up to or over a foot beyond her father in 1 generation.

When a 6’10 Sudanese woman came together with a 6’8 Sudanese man, they gave birth to a daughter who grew to be 6’8 and a son, Manute Bol, who grew to be 7’7, while their great grandfather was famously 7’10. In only 1 generation Manute Bol grew over a foot taller than his father and nearly a foot taller than his mother. Manute Bol went on to have a son, Bol Bol, who grew to be 7’2. Similarly, in a nearby village in the same location where the gene pool was rife with tall people, a man named Ring Ayuel grew to be 7’4.

An American named Robert Wadlow grew to be 8’11 at only 22 years old and weighed almost 500 pounds.

An African American man named John Rogan grew to be 8’9.

A Jew named Eddie Carmel grew to be 9’6, when his parents were only 5 feet tall; however, his maternal grandfather was 7’5. That’s over 3 feet taller than his parents in 1 generation, and 2 feet taller than his grandfather.

Violence and polygamy are the necessary ingredients to generate Giants by natural birth. The cultural revolution of violence and bloodshed that had overtaken the earth in Genesis 6 can be traced back to Cain (“…the earth was filled with violence” – Gen. 6:11), while the cultural revolution of polygamy and womanizing can be traced back to Lamech (“…when men began to multiply on the face of the earth” – Gen. 6:1).

Upon being banished from the “Face” of God (Gen. 4:14), “Cain went out from the presence of the LORD” (Gen. 4:16). Cain was driven out of “the hedge” of God’s dominion – the real presence of God’s rule that fortified the Early Church like a superstructure of invisible walls with a canopy of glory suspended overhead (Job 1:10, Zech. 2:5, 9:13-17). Therefore, marvelously, one could go “out” of or into the special and immediate presence of the LORD. Cain complained on his way out saying that his punishment was more than he could bear (Gen. 4:13), and Satan complained that he couldn’t get in to do harm to the saints of the Church in Job’s generation (Job 1:10). As a murderer who deserved to die, Cain knew that he was doomed to be forever recognized by the societies of the righteous as a “fugitive” of justice (Gen. 4:12, 14). Therefore, the violent man was afraid of suffering violence! The murderer was afraid of being slain! Nevertheless, remarkably, Cain was allowed by God to live as an exile of the Kingdom (Gen. 4:15).

On his way out, God said to Cain, “now art thou cursed from the earth” (Gen. 4:11). Practically speaking, this meant that he was doomed to be a “vagabond” in the earth (Gen. 4:12, 14). For, God said, “When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength…” (Gen. 4:12). This curse imposed upon Cain was far worse than the general, universal, and unconditional curse that was inherited by all of fallen mankind, as described in Genesis 3:17-19 – a curse that is suffered by all the seed of Adam regardless of the experience of redemption. For, evidently, after the fall, and before Cain’s excommunication from the Early Church, he was enjoying the blessing of God along with everyone else insomuch that (despite the curse of Genesis 3:17-19) “the ground” was yielding to him its “strength” (Gen. 4:12).

In fact, as a “tiller of the ground” (Gen. 4:2), Cain was so impressed with the harvest that he erroneously attempted to offer a choice bounty of fruits, vegetables, and grains as an “offering unto the LORD” (Gen. 4:3). You can be sure that Cain dreaded the thought of losing this blessing too! For, “the face of the earth” in the settlements of the righteous was very different than the outside world (Gen. 4:14). Complaining of this, Cain said, “Behold, Thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth” (Gen. 4:14)! In other words, Cain knew that the absence of divine blessing meant the presence of divine curse. The divine curse upon Cain and all other exiles of the Kingdom of God was imposed upon them through their banishment from the canopy of divine blessing that sheltered the Church. Therefore, as a vagabond of the wilderness he eventually built a “City” as a resort of protection and safety (Gen. 4:17). This is the first known City of Biblical History, and this is the beginning of the Serpent’s dominion through rebellious sinners (Gen. 3:15). As the builder, Cain was certainly proud about this godless achievement. Ah! But one can only imagine what morals governed the streets of this City with Cain as its ruler (Ps. 12:8). “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” (Psalms 12:8).

When Lamech came along in the 5th generation from Cain, things went from bad to worse. Like Cain, Lamech was a bloody and murderous man (Gen. 4:23-24)! But Lamech was famously poetic in speech and proudly blasphemous about getting away with murder (Gen. 4:23-24). Like Cain, Lamech was godless, determined, and self-willed! But Lamech was much more industrious than Cain. Not only was he the first polygamist ever in Biblical History, Lamech reared his sons to pioneer and master different skills that would give him more power and influence as the Patriarch of the family and the would-be-ruler of the country. In other words, Lamech wasn’t your average father among antediluvian sinners.

Jabal became “the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle” as a provider of milk and meat to the people (Gen. 4:20).

Jubal became “the father of all such as handle the harp and organ” as a merrymaker for revelers in the social lives of sinners (Gen. 4:21).

Tubalcain became “an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron” as an inventor and a builder who enriched, beautified, and equipped the workforce and warriors of the society of sinners (Gen. 4:22).

Lo and behold, each of these fathers were fathered by Lamech! Therefore, Lamech’s fatherhood was a status symbol that commanded respect from society. Lamech was the father of Jabal, Jubal, and Tubalcain, and presumably many other children through polygamy to extend his power and influence as much as possible. Consequentially, Lamech’s prosperity and power left a mark upon society.

Polygamy and womanizing for industrious purposes of power and influence became the norm. The people followed in his train. The widespread practice of polygamy enabled men to begin to “multiply on the face of the earth” very quickly (Gen. 6:1). Not only did heathen families seek strength in numbers in ancient times, but the people also pursued power and security through size and stature. This would have affected how men chose out their wives. Size and stature were critical in ancient warfare. That’s why famous Kings, champions, and great warriors were often those who were greater in size and stature, like the famous Giant named Og, the King of Bashan (Deut. 3:11), or like the champion of the Philistines named Goliath and his brothers (1 Sam. 17:4, 23, 2 Sam. 21:19, 1 Chron. 20:5).

How do you think sinners of large stature sought fame and fortune growing up in a culture of violence and war? Being polygamist womanizers, how do you think these men chose out their wives? Have you ever met a man with 30 children? How about a man with 50 children? How about a man with 100 children?

The feasibility of producing Giants is easier than modern-day readers might imagine. If a 5-to-7-foot nobleman, prince, or King married scores of wives, perhaps even hundreds (Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines), and they went on to have hundreds of children over a few decades, the possibility is well within reach. Especially, if such a man selected the taller women of society as his wives, rather than the shorter ones. This being the case, one man could easily achieve a 1-foot increase of stature in at least a handful of sons from among hundreds of children. Then, if those 6-to-8-foot children did the same thing, and their children did likewise, the tallest from among this one family could have easily ascended a foot or more in every single generation according to the observable patterns of human genetics from modern history. Biblical History bears witness to the same.

In the Bible we read about families that contained many Giants, like “the Sons of Anak” who were also called “Anakims” (Num. 13:33, Josh 15:14, Judges 1:20; Deut. 1:28, 2:10-11, 21, 9:2, Josh. 11:21-22, 14:12, 15). Apparently, these Giants originated from one father, named Anak. What? Could this man be a Fallen Angel? No! Apparently, Anak lived among men like a human being and kept procreating. He too had a father, named “Arba”, who is said to be “the father of Anak” (Josh 15:13). Remember, Angels don’t have fathers! Arba himself was a “Man” of great stature, which is why his son Anak was of gigantic stature! It was written, “And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great Man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.” (Josh. 14:15). Therefore, it was no small feat for Caleb to conquer a City of the Giants, when “Caleb drove from thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the Children of Anak” (Josh 15:14).

The biblical record doesn’t lie. Facts are facts! The ancient origin of the Giants famously known as the “Anakims” is clearly set forth in Scripture. Furthermore, the same is implied with the “Emims”, “Horims”, “Zamzummims” & “Rephaims” (Gen. 14:3-6, 15:20, Deut. 2:10-12, 20-23, 9:2, 1 Sam. 17:4-7, 2 Sam. 21:20-22, 1 Chron. 11:23; Josh 15:8, 18:16, 2 Sam. 5:18, 22, 23:13, 1 Chron. 11:15, 14:9, Isa. 17:5). This is a family thing that became a people thing. According to the normal and observable patterns of human genetics, even the brothers and sisters of these Giants would have been very tall in stature, notwithstanding most of them came short of the official height of Giants. This is why we read about whole lands called, “a land of Giants” or “the land of Giants” (Deut. 2:20, 3:13, Josh. 17:15). Without coincidence, these various collections of Giants that were generally few in number were found to be living among a particular race of people who were also of great stature in comparison to other nations. Height begets height genetically speaking.

“Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, Cities great and fenced up to heaven, A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!” - Deuteronomy 9:1-2

The laws of human genetics would suggest that not all “the Children of Anak” were Giants, but his posterity in general would have been of great stature. Not all the Children of the Giants were Giants, but the families in general would be tall. You know how this works. The family genes would permeate the people in general, until they became “a people great and tall” because they were “the Children of the Anakims” (Deut. 9:2). A lot can happen fast if gigantic men have scores of wives and hundreds of children! As exhibit #1, consider the Amorite people of Biblical History. Through the prophet Amos, Jehovah said that the Amorites were a people “whose height was like the height of the cedars”, and that they were “strong as the oaks” (Amos 2:9-10). This is the kind of people that could feasibly produce Giants and / or they were produced by Giants.

“Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.” - Amos 2:9-10

One of the two Kings of the Amorites was indeed a Giant, and he wasn’t alone! The Amorites had two Kings, named Sihon and Og (Num. 32:33, Deut. 3:37, Josh 9:10). Israel went to war against Sihon first and conquered him (Deut. 2:24-37). Subsequently, Israel went to war against Og and conquered him (Deut. 3:1-17). However, in the process, it was said of Og that he only remained “of the remnant of the Giants” (Deut. 3:11), which implies that the other Giants which existed among his people, the Amorites, were slain before the time of this battle. In former times, the land of Bashan in Og’s Kingdom “was called the land of Giants” (Deut. 3:13). Taller people produce the tallest people. The tallest people produce Giants. This is the clear testimony of Scripture.

Can anyone deny that this was a real means of wealth, power, protection, and fame in ancient times? Barbaric cultures like that of Sparta and Nazi Germany, among others, show us how entire nations can be overcome by radical ideologies in a unified effort to achieve something great that would otherwise be impossible. With lots of violence and rampant polygamy as basic ingredients, the cultural perception of what is “fair” or beautiful would radically change into something where personal advantages in height and stature are a part of the equation. Not to mention the fact that tall men often prefer tall women. Meanwhile, an oppressed class of shorter and weaker men would find themselves wishing they were taller, and marriage could make the difference for the next generation.

What would an average Spartan do? I’m sure the Spartans would have been popular in the antediluvian world. For, what became beautiful in these times was a profound mark of corruption and depravity. Like Nazi Germany unashamedly believed tall, blond-haired, blue-eyed, white Germans were beautiful and the rest were riddled with impurities. Ah! Imagine how wickedness permeated every level of society until the fateful day when “it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart” (Gen. 6:6). The most devastating thing about Genesis 6 wasn’t the flood. The watery baptism was a good thing (1 Pet. 3:18-22). The most devastating thing was when “the Sons of God” of the line of Seth in the Early Church were bewitched by the world to lust after what godless society defines as beautiful. This is what is meant by “the daughters of men” in Genesis 6:2. These were the daughters of the line of Cain who prospered in the world, also called “the children of men” in Genesis 11:5 and 1 Samuel 26:19.

“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the Sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” – Gen. 6:1-2

If “the Sons of God” were going to be ensnared by the world, it was because they looked upon what was forbidden to lust after. Like Eve “saw” something she didn’t see before when looking upon the forbidden Tree, only then did she fall prey to its allurement because it became “pleasant to the eyes” (Gen. 3:6). This is the sense of the text, “the Sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair…” (Gen. 6:2). This is lawlessness! Like when Samson “saw” a harlot in Gaza (Judges 16:2). The Sons of God shouldn’t have been looking upon what they were seeing (Job 31:1)! What the world deems beautiful shouldn’t be attractive to the saints (Lk. 16:15, 1 Pet. 3:3-4, Prov. 11:22, 31:30).

“As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.” - Proverbs 11:22

A worldly attraction will make you see something that isn’t really there in God’s sight (Prov. 11:22). Like when Achan “saw” among the spoils of Ai “a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold…”, it was then that he “coveted them” (Josh. 7:21). The act of seeing here in Genesis 6:2 is a forbidden desire of coveting worldly beauty, prosperity, and fame. While, on the contrary, David said, “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes…” (Ps. 101:3).

“There were Giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the Sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” - Genesis 6:4

Evidently, the backsliding Sons of God were not the primary producers of the Giants “in those days” – at the time of demonic allurement (Gen. 6:4). The Sons of God were allured to desire the false security of polygamous womanizing for industrious purposes because the rapidly multiplying worldlings were boasting in a newfound success of gigantic proportions. Cain was glorying over Seth! In other words, the Sons of God were allured because of the Giants to become like the worldlings in the betterment of themselves physically so that they too could one day produce Giants. Therefore, fundamentally, they were enticed to admire what the world called beautiful in height and strength of stature, as the heathen were pushing the limits of what was possible by human genetics. This is what is meant by the time stamp, “in those days”, found in Genesis 6:4.

Subsequently, we find another reference to time in the word, “after”, in Genesis 6:4. That is to say, “after” the Sons of God suffered a great falling away from the faith through beginning to assimilate themselves into heathen society – originally because of the Giants – the Sons of God were eventually able to produce some Giants among their offspring as they began to have hundreds of children through womanizing. This is what is meant by, “and also after that, when…”, in Genesis 6:4. First, they were subverted by the Giants! Then, they wanted Giants of their own. First, they found themselves cowering before the Giants for unbelief in God, even as the Israelites of the Wilderness were made to feel like “grasshoppers” (Num. 13:33). In perhaps the most infamous occasion of widespread apostasy in all of Biblical History, the ten spies spoke their mind (Num. 13:31-33) and the people followed suit (Deut. 1:28).

“…We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the Giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the Giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” - Numbers 13:31-33

“Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.” - Deuteronomy 1:28

The apostate people saw one thing, and Caleb saw something else altogether (Num. 13:30, 14:6-9). Just a little faith in God made the Giants appear very small (Matt. 17:20). Just a little faith in God revealed to the eye of the beholder that an Israelite attack in obedience to God was indefensible and unstoppable! Meanwhile, the disgruntled unbelievers in God denounced Caleb because they put their faith in the Giants! The same could be said of “the Sons of God” in Genesis 6:1-7. Their original falling away was primarily because of the Giants, and their intermarrying with the heathen was for the production of Giants, and at last they found success through the process of human genetics. However, originally, they were not the primary producers of the Giants, but through assimilation in a falling away they eventually produced Giants that “became mighty men which were of old, men of renown” (Gen. 6:4).
